Manipur: Grenade Attack on RAF Camp in Imphal East Injures Head Constable

A head constable of the Rapid Action Force (RAF) sustained minor injuries after unidentified miscreants allegedly hurled a grenade at the entrance of an RAF camp in Imphal East district on Thursday night.

The incident occurred at around 10 pm on October 8 at the B/107 RAF camp in New Lambulane, under Porompat Police Station.

The injured personnel was identified as Dhananjay Rai, a head constable from Uttar Pradesh. He sustained minor injuries in the grenade attack.

The motive behind the incident and the identities of those responsible remain unknown. Further details are awaited.
