Body of 22-Year-Old Man Recovered Near Moirangpali–Tentha Route

Thoubal, November 19:

Authorities early this morning recovered the body of a 22-year-old man near the Karanchi Checkon locality, between Moirangpali and Tentha Road, falling under the jurisdiction of Thoubal Police Station, Sangaiyumpham Part-II.

Residents travelling along the route first noticed the body and notified police. The deceased was later identified as Md. Askar Ali alias Boycha, son of Md. Mujafar Ali, of Sangaiyumpham Part-II, Sabal Khunou.

While the cause of death is yet to be established, police have filed an Unnatural Death (UD) case and launched an inquiry into possible foul play.

His body has been taken to JNIMS mortuary for autopsy, officials confirmed.
