Manipur CM Calls on Union Home Minister in New Delhi; Assured Full Support for Peace & Rehabilitation

Yumnam Khemchand Singh called on Amit Shah in New Delhi today, accompanied by Deputy Chief Ministers Nemcha Kipgen and Losii Dikho.

During the meeting, the leaders held a detailed and constructive discussion on key issues concerning Manipur, including measures aimed at restoring peace, ensuring stability, accelerating rehabilitation efforts, and promoting overall development in the state.

Assurance on IDP Rehabilitation

The Union Home Minister conveyed firm assurance that the Union Government will extend every possible assistance to ensure the early resettlement and rehabilitation of Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs).

The Chief Minister expressed sincere gratitude on behalf of the people of Manipur for the continued support, guidance, and commitment shown by the Union Government towards the welfare of the state.
