Tarun Chugh Appointed BJP Central Observer for Manipur Leader Selection

The BJP Parliamentary Board has designated Tarun Chugh, the party’s National General Secretary, as Central Observer for the election of the BJP Legislative Party Leader in Manipur.

An official announcement confirming the appointment was issued on February 2, 2026, through a press release signed by BJP National General Secretary Arun Singh. Chugh will be responsible for overseeing the proceedings connected to the leadership selection in the state legislature.
