Thousands Turn Out for COCOMI’s ‘Manipur Kanba Khongchat’ Rally

A massive crowd gathered in Imphal on Saturday as thousands of people took part in the “Manipur Kanba Khongchat” rally, organised by the Coordinating Committee on Manipur Integrity (COCOMI), to express concerns over Manipur’s integrity and long-term future.
The rally began around 10 am from Kwakeithal Tiddim Ground and moved along Tiddim Road before reaching Keishampat Junction. The procession then continued through Waheng Leikai Road, Nagamapan Road, Khuyathong Traffic Point, and Thangmeiband Road, finally concluding at Thangmeiband THAU Ground.
A public meeting was organised at the concluding venue, where leaders and representatives addressed the participants. The organisers said the rally was aimed at projecting the united voice of the people and appealed to civil society organisations, student groups, and community bodies to actively participate.
