UNION MINISTER BANDHI SANJAY KUMAR INSPECTS TALLEST PIER RAILWAY BRIDGE AT NONEY

Union Minister of State for Home Affairs, Bandhi Sanjay Kumar, visited Noney district in Manipur to inspect the ongoing construction of the world’s tallest pier railway bridge. The bridge, a part of the Jiribam–Imphal railway project, stands as a symbol of India’s engineering excellence and aims to boost connectivity in the Northeast region.

During the inspection, the Minister reviewed the progress of the work and appreciated the efforts of engineers and workers involved in the project. He highlighted that the bridge would play a crucial role in improving transportation, trade, and tourism once completed. The visit reflects the government’s continued focus on infrastructure development and regional integration in the Northeast.
