UK Band ‘Blue’ Lands in Imphal for Grand Performance at Sangai Music Festival Tonight

The internationally renowned British pop band Blue touched down at Imphal Airport this morning, marking the beginning of their much-anticipated performance at the Sangai Music Festival 2025. Their visit comes as part of the band’s ongoing 25th-anniversary world tour, making this their first-ever appearance in Manipur.
Upon arrival, the members of Blue were greeted with traditional Manipuri shawls and bouquets by festival organisers. A large crowd of enthusiastic fans also gathered at the airport, eager to welcome the globally acclaimed group known for chart-topping hits and timeless pop anthems.
Imphal is one of the key stops on their India tour, with subsequent performances scheduled in Gangtok, Shillong, and Bengaluru throughout December.
Festival organisers further announced that celebrated rock band Girish and the Chronicles will take the stage tomorrow, adding even more energy to the already star-studded lineup. With back-to-back major international and national acts, this year’s Sangai Music Festival is expected to witness record attendance and heightened excitement.
