The Chief Minister visited a relief camp in Imphal East district, where he:
• Met the grieving family of the victim
• Interacted with internally displaced persons (IDPs)
• Conveyed condolences and assured full government support
He reiterated that ensuring justice for the victim remains a top priority.

• The victim, a young girl from Moreh, went missing on April 4
• Her body was discovered the next day beneath the Singjamei Bridge
• The brutal nature of the crime has raised serious concerns about the safety of displaced persons, especially children
Authorities have confirmed that the accused has been taken into custody.

In a statement shared after the visit, the Chief Minister emphasized:
