KYKL Cadre Arrested in Imphal East, Mobile and Aadhaar Seized

Arrests in Separate Operations
- In Kakching district, an active cadre of the banned Kangleipak Communist Party (Ibungo Ngangomba faction) was arrested from Kakching Khunou Lamkhai along the Indo-Myanmar Sugnu Road under Waikhong Police Station.
- The individual was identified as Laishram Anil (34), alias Chara Singh
- Seizures included a mobile phone and a Hyundai i20 vehicle
- In another operation in Imphal East district, security forces arrested a member of the proscribed Kanglei Yaol Kanna Lup (KYKL).
- The accused, Maibam Romio Singh (52), alias Ronald, was apprehended from Singjamei area
- Authorities recovered a mobile phone and an Aadhaar card

Security personnel also uncovered and dismantled a militant camp in:
- Leishangthem Ikop Pat area under Thoubal district
During the operation, the following weapons were recovered:
- 1 sub-machine gun carbine with magazine
- 4 bolt-action rifles

- 3 live rounds of ammunition
