Manipur CM Inaugurates Rs 32 Crore Infrastructure Projects in Keirao
IMPHAL, Sept. 23: Manipur Chief Minister Yumnam Khemchand Singh on Tuesday inaugurated development projects worth around Rs 32 crore in Keirao Assembly constituency of Imphal East district.
The projects include a sports gallery, Ima Market, working women’s hostel and two reinforced cement concrete (RCC) bridges. The inauguration ceremony was held at Arapati Lilong Mapal Kangjeibung in Keirao.
Speaking at the event, Khemchand said the projects are aimed at improving connectivity, supporting the local economy, providing facilities for working women and promoting sports. He added that the infrastructure would help address existing gaps and improve the quality of life of residents.
Keirao MLA Lourembam Rameshwor Meetei, Wangjing Tentha MLA Paonam Brojen Singh and 15-Keirao Makting Zilla Parishad member M. Joykumar Singh attended the programme.
Bamon Kampu ZP member H. Dhamendra Singh, ZP chairperson K. Subhas Singh and Keirao Gram Panchayat chairperson M. Romeschandra were also present.
