At least four civilians, including the chief of Chassad village, sustained injuries after suspected NSCN-IM cadres allegedly opened fire with automatic weapons at Chassad village in Manipur’s Kamjong district on Saturday afternoon.

According to preliminary reports, the incident took place at around 2:30 PM, prompting calls for security forces to intervene amid concerns over civilian safety and the possibility of further violence.
